Healing beyond words

Sometimes words aren’t enough. You may find it difficult to explain how you’re feeling, or you might carry experiences that are too complex, painful, or deep to put into language. Sand tray therapy offers a gentle, creative way to explore your inner world and begin healing—without needing to “have all the right words.”

In the sand tray, you choose from a variety of figures and objects to create a scene in the sand. This process taps into the wisdom of your imagination and subconscious, allowing hidden feelings and insights to surface safely. With my support, you can begin to see your inner experiences reflected in the sand—and discover new pathways for healing, clarity, and growth.

Why sand tray therapy?

  • Safe expression:

It gives shape to feelings that may be difficult to talk about or feelings that are outside your awareness.

  • Healing without pressure:

You don’t have to explain or justify; the tray holds your story.

  • Access to inner wisdom:

The creative process helps you connect with deeper parts of yourself.

  • Gentle transformation:

Seeing your experience outside of yourself creates space for new understanding and healing.

What you may experience in sand tray therapy

Relief in being able to express yourself without words

Surprising insights about your emotions, relationships, or patterns

A sense of play, curiosity, or creativity in your healing process

Gentle release of feelings you’ve carried for too long

Greater clarity and connection to your inner self

A nurturing approach

You don’t need artistic skill or prior experience—just openness to explore. In our sessions, I’ll guide you with care and curiosity, helping you make meaning of what emerges in the sand at your own pace. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, grief, trauma, or life transitions, sand tray therapy can offer a unique doorway to transformation.

Discover what’s beneath the surface

Sand tray therapy invites you to slow down, listen inward, and see your story in new ways. It can be a powerful step toward healing, self-discovery, and empowerment—complementing talk therapy and deepening your journey toward wholeness.

What it looks like to work with me

Sand tray therapy in Menifee, serving Temecula & Murrieta

Therapy with me is relaxed, grounding, and real.

I am an understanding guide, empathic support, and dedicated resource coming from a place of authenticity and compassion.

You won’t find a stiff or clinical atmosphere here—you can expect a space that feels safe, welcoming, and downto-earth. We might sit in chairs or even on the floor, and I show up in comfortable clothing so you can feel at ease being yourself, too. I can be direct when needed and I also have a sense of humor.

Our therapy sessions are flexible and creative.

Alongside talking, I often weave in somatic movement, breathing practices, visualization, meditation, mindfulness, dream work, parts work, or even the use of oracle cards when it feels supportive..
